Presenters: Joyvan Malbon-Griffin, Minnesota Lawyers Mutual Insurance Company

Joyvan Malbon-Griffin is a Regional Director and Claims Attorney with Minnesota Lawyers Mutual, affectionately known as MLM. Primarily, she works to support MLM’s strategic objectives by managing and directing the territories in Virginia and Washington, DC. As a Regional Director, she is a professional dedicated to the lawyers’ liability marketplace whereby she takes time to understand each firm’s individual insurance needs. She also answers questions about our A (Excellent) Financial Strength Rated insurance company (by AM Best) and assists with understanding policies and applications.

As a Claims Attorney, she manages litigation involving legal malpractice and provides advice to attorneys facing malpractice suits and ethical complaints. She frequently presents CLEs throughout the Commonwealth and beyond on topics related to ethics, firm management, legal malpractice, and attorney well-being.
