She has a BA from Virginia Wesleyan University and an MFA from Queens University of Charlotte. She served in Americorps' Virginia Service Conservation Corps as a Natural Resource Ranger and has held multiple roles in non-profit&amp;nbsp;leadership&amp;nbsp;focused on community building and economic&amp;nbsp;development. She has been an educator and professional writer for nearly two decades. She is a Certified Interpretive Guide and a Tidewater Master Naturalist. She believes that everyone deserves safe access to green space and that trails can transform communities.&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

While many of these people want to control the timing and manner of their death, many cannot. First, only a minority of Virginians know their end-of-life options. Second, even fewer have done the necessary planning. This session helps address the persistently prevalent problem of value-incongruent care for the seriously and terminally ill.&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p style="font-size: 18px; margin-top: 0px !important; margin-bottom: 0px !important;"&gt;&lt;font face="Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif"&gt;&lt;font style="font-size: 16px;"&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
